The big dream for the GAME team in Beirut is to get a GAME House in Lebanon. So Sunday staff and Playmakers held a workshop and got all creative to visualize their thoughts on this. An indoor facility accessible for all will give especially the many Syrian and Palestinian refugees an opportunity to play sports all year round. The facility could also broaden the scope to include dance and rap, which will allow GAME Lebanon to include more girls and strengthen the advocacy aspects.
The good news are that the City of Beirut has already located an ideal spot for the place. The location is called Qas-Qas and is placed on “the green line” which was the no-mans-land during the civil war which ended in 1990. Now we just need to find the funding to build the place. Good ideas are always welcome.
